Community guidelines
This app exists to help members of the Jamat support one another in the spirit of generosity, compassion, and community service. Please use it in that spirit.
- ✓Be respectful, kind, and courteous to all members.
- ✓Keep posts to giving away or requesting items — no buying, selling, or commercial advertising.
- ✓No spam, chain messages, or unrelated posts.
- ✓Nothing offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate.
- ✓Respect everyone's privacy — don't try to identify another member or share conversations outside the app.
- ✓Once an item is taken or no longer needed, update or withdraw your post.
- ✓Arrange collection through a Jamatkhana drop-point or courier where you can, to keep both sides anonymous.
Reporting and safety
You can report any item or member to coordinators from within the app. Reporting a member also blocks them from messaging you. Coordinators can, in genuine safety situations only, identify an account — and every such action is permanently logged.
